Ethical Tick Recruitment didn’t begin as a business idea… it started in a conversation.


 One of our Ethical Tick partners shared their frustration after trying everything to fill a role, advertising with no success, then turning to recruitment firms that charged heavily but still delivered candidates who simply weren’t the right fit. 


They didn’t need more options, they needed the right people. They asked if I could help make a few connections… and almost immediately, it worked. 


Not by chance, but because the alignment was there from the start. 


That moment made it clear, this isn’t a volume problem, it’s a values problem.

    Traditional recruitment agencies often charge fees based on the total remuneration package, including superannuation, bonuses, sign-on incentives, and company vehicles. 


    Ethical Tick Recruitment takes a different approach. 


    We calculate our fee on base salary only and spread payments across the probation period, making recruitment more affordable and cash-flow friendly.


    The question we are often asked is: "How can you do this?"

    Our response is simple: "Why not?"


    Why does recruitment have to conform to an industry model that increases costs for employers simply because it has always been done that way? 


    We believe recruitment should be transparent, fair, and aligned with the realities of running a business.
