Location: Adelaide, SA

Employment Type: Full-Time / Hybrid

About the Role

This isn’t your typical PBS role.

If you’re tired of drowning in paperwork and want to get back to what actually matters working directly with participants ... this is your opportunity.

They are a values-driven organisation focused on delivering high-quality, ethical support while reducing unnecessary administrative burden. Their systems are designed to maintain compliance without compromising your time in the field, so you can focus on meaningful, face-to-face engagement with participants.

What Makes This Role Different

  • Less paperwork, more impact – streamlined systems that support compliance without consuming your day
  • Face-to-face focused – prioritising real engagement over report writing
  • Ethics-led practice – quality support that goes beyond minimum standards
  • You as the practitioner matter – your development is a core priority, not an afterthought

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop evidence-based Behaviour Support Plans
  • Deliver person-centred, trauma-informed support to participants
  • Work collaboratively with families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide training and guidance to support teams implementing behaviour strategies
  • Monitor and review behaviour support plans to ensure ongoing effectiveness
  • Maintain documentation in line with NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission requirements
  • Uphold best practice and ethical standards in all aspects of your work

What They’re Looking For

  • Experience as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner (Core, Proficient, or Advanced)
  • Relevant qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Behavioural Science, or related field
  • Strong understanding of the NDIS and Behaviour Support framework
  • Ability to build genuine relationships with participants and stakeholders
  • A practitioner who values quality over shortcuts
  • Someone who wants to grow, develop, and become an expert in their field

Professional Development & Growth

They don’t just expect excellence  ... They invest in it.

  • Ongoing internal training and mentoring / supervision
  • Access to external professional development opportunities to guide your career development where you want it to go
  • Structured support to help you advance your practitioner level
  • A culture that encourages continuous learning and reflection

Their goal is simple:

👉 To support you in becoming a recognised expert in Positive Behaviour Support.

Why change roles?

Because this is how the role should be done.

  • Spend more time with participants, less time behind a screen
  • Be part of a team that values ethics, quality, and real outcomes
  • Work in an environment where your skills are respected and developed
  • Contribute to meaningful change in the lives of people with disability
